White Wine by d'Arenberg from McLaren Vale, Australia. Marsanne, a full-bodied wine with heady aromas of honeysuckle and almonds, is an excellent blending partner for aromatic varieties with high natural acidity, such as Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc. These three varietals have proved themselves to be a popular blend since this wine's first release. The Stump Jump is at its best while young and will continue to remain fresh for the next three years. It is perfect drinking on a warm summer day, and a perfect match for a wide variety of light dishes.

White Wine by De Loach from Russian River, California. Nose: Aromas of pear, apple and vanilla. Palate: Concentrated flavors of pear, apple and vanilla are complemented nicely by toasty oak components. This elegant wine is rich and clean with a smooth, long-lasting finish. Food pairings: Salad with marinated shrimp and papaya mango dressing, grilled salmon with basil-cream sauce, carrot-ginger soup.

White Wine by De Martino from Chile, South America. The DeMartino family has been producing wine in Chile's famous Maipo Valley for almost 70 years. Delicate use of oak adds complexity, but the strength of DeMartino wines is in the fruit- resulting in big, rich, extracted flavors. Legado Reserva wines are made in limited production on the family estate using only the ripest hand-picked fruit. Aged in American and French oak, this Chardonnay has great volume and is well balanced with an excellent combination of fruit and oak. Pleasant and complex with a long finish.

White Wine by De Martino from Chile, South America. The DeMartino family has been producing wine in Chile's famous Maipo Valley for almost 70 years. Delicate use of oak adds complexity, but the strength of DeMartino wines is in their fruit, which results in big, rich, extracted flavors. These wines are concentrated yet elegant, each with a distinctive personality. DeMartino first began producing organic wines in 1991. From the pruning to the harvest, De Martino's organic wines are produced under the auspices of the Organic Management Program, certified by BCS Oko-Garantie. The organic grapes, which are grown in their own Isla de Maipo estate on the De Martino property, have permanent green cover crops between rows to facilitate biodiversity in the vineyard. The hand-picked grapes are fermented in their own yeasts and require a minimum of sulfur. This 100% Sauvignon Blanc has a bright yellow color with an expressive aroma of grass, citrus and white peach. On the palate it is crisp and well-balanced with an abundance of fruit, coupled with a vibrant acidity and luxuriously long finish. Ideal with smoked cheeses, fish and oysters.

White Wine by Distant Bay from Central Coast, California. This wine is 100% Chardonnay from Monterey County, a grape that benefits from cool coastal influences. This offering has inviting aromas of fresh pears and tropical fruit with flavors of creme brulee plus light citrus zest. A hint of vanilla oak creates a lingering, rich finish.

White Wine by Dom. Schlumberger from Alsace, France. Product of a great year, this is a beautiful example of a high quality Riesling that is fruity, dry and robust. It will enhance all simply-prepared dishes and fish, as well as meat. It may easily be cellared three to four years, but is enjoyable now. Riesling, a dry yet lively wine with a racy acidity, is considered the noble grape of the Alsatian varietals. It is very different to its German counterpart and to the numerous Rieslings which are now appearing around the world. The Alsace Riesling is better known for the elegant balance of acidity and fruit. It is a late maturing varietal and continues to mature even at quite low temperatures with wonderful results when the vintage ends with a warm and sunny harvest month.

White Wine by Domaine d'UBY from Bordeaux, France - Bordeaux. A fruity wine with flavors of both exotic and citrus fruits. Fresh reminiscent characters like Sauvignon Blanc with a fruiter, softer edge. Highly aromatic with a soft palate with a slight nutty character. A delicious wine for appetizers, fresh salads and seafood. The blend consists of two local varietals; Colombard (50%) and Ugni Blanc (50%) with average vines over 20 years.

White Wine by Dom. de la Perriere from Loire, France - regions. Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel and concrete vats. Estate-bottled. Emphatically dry and crisp, but with plenty of the lingering fruit and fragrance for which Sauvignon Blanc grown in Sancerre is world famous. A fine choice for light fish and shellfish, many chicken dishes and medium weight cheese. Try also with savory vegetable dishes and Pan-Asian cuisine. Located in the village of Verdigny northwest of the town of Sancerre, in the heart of the upper Loire Valley. 130 acres of hilltop vineyards with deep limestone soil. The founding Archambault family arrived in the region in the 15th century, turning an abandoned cave-like quarry into a winery. The Cave de la Perriere provided an excellent venue for producing fresh, crisp Sancerre. The Domaine is now owned and managed by Jean-Louis Saget.

Winsome aromas of quince, chamomile, almond paste, and white chocolate lead to a subtly sweet, mouth-filling, yet elegant and juicy palate and a bitter-sweet, quince- and flower-filled, honeyed, subtly confectionary yet genuinely refreshing finish. White Wine by Dom. du Closel from Loire, France - regions. Savennieres La Jalousie (formerly les Coulees, or Cuvee Classique, i.e. dry) is a classic Savennieres from a stainless-steel cuvee of young and older vines from their steepest soils of pure schist. The domaine of the de Jessey family has been the source for some remarkable Savennieres, of which I have numerous twenty-some year old bottles in my own cellar. But they have never been easy wines to approach - much less cuddle up to - in their youth... -Wine Advocate

White Wine by Dom. Schlumberger from Alsace, France - regions. This wine is a very versatile aperitif that will accompany foie gras or any exotic cuisine, such as dishes with fines herbs. It pairs well with salty and sweet foods, as well as spicy dishes such as curry. It also brings out the flavor of certain cheeses such as Blue Cheese or Muenster.

White Wine by Domaines Baron Rothschild from Bordeaux, France - Bordeaux. Blend: 60% Semillon, 40% Sauvignon Blanc Bright, pale straw-yellow. The nose is intense and elegant, with good aromatic complexity (white flowers and citrus fruit, mineral notes). The palate has a good balance between body and liveliness, aromas of fresh fruit and a long finish. This is a wine for pleasure, intense and easydrinking.

White Wine by Dry Creek Vineyard from Russian River, California. The 2005 Russian River Chardonnay begins with abundant aromas of peach, apricot, pear, and toasted almonds. More complex aromas of spice and hazelnut are revealed after several minutes in the glass. On the palate, crisp acidity from Dry Creek's cool weather vineyards strike an excellent balance with subtle oak nuances. The finish is long and lingering with additional vanilla and cream elements that add even more finesse and elegance to this beautiful wine.

White Wine by Dry Creek Vineyard from Sonoma County, California. Crafted in the traditional Loire Valley style, Dry Creek's Chenin Blanc is stainless steel fermented to preserve the fresh tropical aromas and bright acidity that have become hallmarks of this wine. At first swirl, the wine displays notes of melon, peach, and lemon peel. On the palate, crisp acidity is balanced with juicy tropical fruit flavors and additional hints of honeysuckle and rose petal. The finish is precise and harmonious with wonderful intensity and flavor - a perfect match with fresh shucked oysters or spicy Thai food.

White Wine by Drylands from Marlborough, New Zealand. Drylands Dry Riesling is a direct reflection of the terroir where the grapes are grown. The fruit for this wine is grown in dry, deep, fine alluvium soils in Marlborough's Golden Triangle that encourage a long, cool ripening period. Appearance: Pale lemon in color, with brilliant clarity Aroma: A bouquet of ripe citrus fruit characters accompanied by floral aromas Flavor: Bright notes of grapefruit and lime are accented by touches of honeysuckle. The palate shows good weight and balance with a crisp lingering finish. A structure of elegant, lively acidity is offset by a hint of residual sugar.

A low concentration of Surmaturo grapes gives the wine tropical fruit notes that make the vintage truly unique. The wine possesses pleasant floral and tropical fruit aromas, and has a light, crisp, clean and refreshing flavor, with fruit character and refined elegance.
