White Wine by Bodegas Martin Codax from Rias Baixas, Spain. Mart?n C?dax Albari?o is a refreshing food friendly wine, showcasing a pale yellowish color with touches of bright gold. It is an aromatic and complex wine that is rich, elegant, dry and crisp. It is full-bodied, with flavors of ripe apples, peach, apricot, melon, grapefruit and lemon zest melded perfectly together with a bright minerality. White Wine by Bonny Doon from California. From what far-flung, telic appellation might be dispatched a white cigar? Le Cigare Blanc is the white analogue of Le Cigare Volant, Bonny Doon's homage to the complex blended wines of the Chateauneuf-du-Pape. This seasonal outing is based (60%) on the Roussane variety. This mysteriously subtle grape combines stone and mineral notes within a package surprisingly full of ripe orchard fruit. Grenache Blanc at 40% volume adds its own bright refreshing character, nearly merging this cuvee into the fast lane of snappiness, before the Rousanne takes charge, pulling stylishly over to the right and settling down for a seductively long ride.

White Wine by Bonterra from North Coast, California. An intial impression of rich, buttery cream turns to aromas of honey and lightly toasted almonds, followed quickly by tropical aromas of pineapple and citrusy lemon. This wine is refreshing on the palete with a vibrant tartness and lemon zest.

White Wine by Bonterra from North Coast, California. Once again in this exceptional vintage Bonterra has layered sister White Rhone varietals Marsanne and Roussanne to the blend, adding a dimension of complexity. Marsanne provides a rich texture and green apple flavor, while Roussanne contributes pear and haunting floral notes. As you begin to drink, powerful aromas of freshly sliced harvest peach, hints of honeysuckle and an exotic note of jasmine dominate. Peaches and cream remain a sensory signature of this wine. Through careful vineyard selection and hand-crafted winemaking, this Sauvignon Blanc is Brancott's finest expression of Marlborough's most famous variety. This wine shows vibrant fruit flavors, a hint of barrel fermentation and a complex, concentrated palate. Color: Pale straw with green hints. White Wine by Brassfield from North Coast, California. The home ranch on the western side of High Valley has been known as High Serenity Ranch for over one hundred years. Brassfield 2006 Pinot Grigio comes from the original 10 acre vineyard and the 40 acre vineyard, planted in 2003. Both of these vineyards are comprised of gravelly loams, and are some of the coolest growing conditions in High Valley. The 2006 Pinot Grigio emits a dazzling forward bouquet of orange blossom, vanilla bean extract, pineapple and Bartlett pears. The ripe fruit offers flavors of the same luscious fruit while, at the same time, remaining crisp with balanced acidity, medium body, and lingering finish.

White Wine by Brassfield from North Coast, California. The home ranch on the western side of High Valley has been known as High Serenity Ranch for over one hundred years. This Sauvignon Blanc vineyard consists of Clone #1 on soils that are comprised of well-drained, gravelly loams. High Valley's signature cooler growing conditions allow for longer grape hang times enhancing flavor development and better acid retention in the juice and finished wine. Like all great white Bordeaux, 9% Semillon from an adjoining vineyard was blended to add more body to the mid-palate prior to bottling. This vintage shows delicate citrus aromas of gooseberry and kiwi with subtle hints of pears and cantaloupe. A bright entry on the palate and flavors of a tart, crisp Granny Smith apple lead to a soft, broad lingering finish.

White Wine by Broadbent from Portugal. Vinho Verde, the most popular white wine from Portugal, is a deliciously refressing, light wine. Verde, meaning Green refers to the hints of lime color. White Wine by Buena Vista from Carneros, California. Buena Vista's EVS wines showcase individual clones or blocks that perform exceptionally well in any given vintage. This wine exhibits aromas of steely minerality, lemon drop, clove, pear aromas and subtle matchstick. The 2004 Dijon Clones Chardonnay continues with rich flavors of oily bright citrus, focused peach, mandarin orange and candied ginger. Try it with a lemon dill poached salmon in a beurre blanc sauce.

White Wine by Buena Vista from Carneros, California. True to its Carneros terroir, the wine exhibits aromas of apple, asian pear, citrus rind, mineral, hazelnut and brioche. This wine continues with flavors of lemon custard, nectarine, with subtle tropical, wet stone minerality and vanilla cream in the finish. The 2004 Ramal Vineyard Chardonnay has complexity with its multiple clonal selections, showing bright acidity and great fruit intensity along with richness and lush texture.

White Wine by Buena Vista from Carneros, California. The aromas in Buena Vista 2005 Carneros Chardonnay are a combination of crisp green apple, orange blossom, clove and sweet Meyer lemon. It is a classic example of Carneros Chardonnay and shows all the unique characteristics of the region's terroir. The flavors on the palate show apple and pear layered with bright citrus and lemon curd. Subtle notes of vanilla and spice add texture and round off the long, smooth finish.
