Red Wine by Spadafora from Sicily, Italy. Syrah is Francesco Spadafora's specialty and the rich fruit and complexity of his Schietto Syrah aptly demonstrate his dedication to this international variety. The wine is aged for 12 months in barriques and rests for 6 months in bottle before release. Deep purple in color with aromas and flavors of blackberry, cherry and a touch of vanilla spice. Soft and lush, with structuring tannins and a long, ripe finish.
