I've always admired and respected the artistry and passion that goes into crafting a great wine, said Luis Miguel. When I set out to create ?ICO Luis Miguel, it was important to me to find a partner that shared my vision. Vi?Ventisquero is the perfect choice because of its progressive approach to winemaking and extraordinary vineyards. It has been great working alongside such a well respected winemaker as Aurelio and I'm excited about the tremendous wine that we've created. Tasting Note An intense cherry-red in color with hints of blue; complex aromas of ripe raspberries and black currant are uniquely complimented by black pepper spices, cedar and tobacco notes. Expressive and full on the palate with a balanced body and distinctive, ripe, round tannins that linger on the long, chocolate finish.

Blend: 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Syrah An intense cherry-red in color with hints of blue; complex aromas of ripe raspberries and black currant are uniquely complemented by black pepper spices, cedar and tobacco notes. Expressive and full on the palate with a balanced body and distinctively ripe, round tannins that linger on the long, chocolate finish.

A classic Cabernet Sauvignon that can compete with the best from around the world, this wine has an intense red/purple color and an enjoyable, complex nose that is reminiscent of berries, spice, cedar, chocolate and much more. The nose carries through to the palate, delivering rich, full texture and berry-spicy-cedar flavors. It is a well-balanced wine with a lingering, pleasing finish. Serve at room temperature with red meats, lamb, cheeses.

Blend: 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Petit Verdot Color: Deep garnet Aroma: Intense aromas of plums, blackberry and cherry with a hint of spice, cedar and vanilla Taste: Ripe, rich, dense fruit with full body and great concentration; juicy plum, black cherry and red currant flavors with hints of tobacco and baking spices; long finish with ripe tannins and good structure.

Red Wine by Vine Cliff from Napa Valley, California. Aroma: Bright with sweet black currant jam, plum and wild berry fruit with hints of fennel and lavender. Cocoa powder, cedar, toast with hints of mineral add depth and complexity. Palate: The mouth feel is rich and full with a luscious texture that builds to a long lingering finish.

Red Wine by Von Strasser from Napa Valley, California. Only the darkest, most extracted lots from our estate vineyards are used in making this wine. This wine is deep in color. Aromas of cassis, cocoa powder, vanilla and sarsaparilla are interwoven with flavors of black currant, dried plums and cherries, and chocolate. Dense, with a slightly sweet finish that lingers on. Varietal Make-up: 80% Cabernet Sauvignon 15% Petit Verdot 5% Merlot

Red Wine by Von Strasser from Napa Valley, California. The Diamond Mountain District Cabernet is a blend of all of von Strasser's Cabernet vineyards with a small amount of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. It is deep, dense, dark, and rich with loads of ripe cherry, blackberry and cassis. It has firm tannins and a long milk chocolate finish. Perfect with a thick New York Strip, a grilled rack of lamb or smoked baby back ribs.

Red Wine by Von Strasser from Napa Valley, California. This is what Cabernet is all about! It is a big, bold wine with intense fruit, a full body and a long smooth finish. Look for blueberry and cassis lined with chocolate and anise. The Estate Cab is very approachable early but will continue to improve with age and reward your patience.

Red Wine by Walla Walla Vintners from Columbia Valley, Washington. Walla Walla Vintners is known for our complex and compelling Cabernet Sauvignon. The core of this age-worthy wine contains 80% Cabernet Sauvignon from Cold Creek, Goose Ridge, Dwelley Jones, and Sagemoor Vineyards. We added 10% Merlot from Killian and Sagemoor Vineyards, 7% Cabernet Franc from Cold Creek Vineyard to extend the mouth-feel and a 3% dollop of Malbec to enrich the spicy chocolate finish. It has a chokecherry nose with a mid-palate of caramel and a hint of light brown sugar and a stunning ending of Herbs de Provence with lavender and dark chocolate.

Blend: 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, 3% Malbec, 2% Petit Verdot This Cabernet Sauvignon is an appealing blend of lush fruit with aromas of cherry, currant and spicy oak. The wine has rich texture and flavors of blackberry, plum and cherry. With ample fruit, good weight in the mid-palate and velvety tannins, this beautifully balanced wine is ready to enjoy now, but with aging potential to 2012.

A small percentage of grapes are whole berry fermented, contributing softness in the tannin structure and an added richness, polished texture and body. Red Wine by Wolf Blass from South Australia, Australia. The 2005 Wolf Blass Yellow Label Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich, deep wine. The nose shows fresh, varietal, leafy characters with subtle and integrated oak flavors. There are aromas of plums and berries. This is a medium to full bodied wine that offers a sweet, middle palate, finishing with fine, smooth, chalky Cabernet tannins. Enjoy with roasted lamb or grilled lamb cutlets. This wine is drinking very nicely now, but it will also reward between 2 and 5 years of cellaring.

Quite round, even lush, on the palate, but the red and dark fruit flavors convey impressive structure and focus thanks to suave tannins and subtle acidity. With air, this developed a sweet cherry flavor, with hints of smoky herbs and cured meat. Nicely focused, energetic and long, finishing with a fine dusting of tannins.” ~ Josh Reynolds, Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar “The 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon The Menzies reveals a dusty, terroir, earthiness along with sweet, leafy, black currant fruit, licorice, and tobacco notes. This medium-bodied, spicy, ripe, ruggedly constructed Cabernet has some rustic tannin to be resolved. It should evolve for 10-12 years.” ~ The Wine Advocate  Deep crimson red. The aroma is a meld of briar, red currant and black olive flavours through to black cherry and plum skins. The palate opens with the sweet berry richness of red currants and dark chocolates, merging into a full bodied wine with a nice fleshy extract. Good density and lashings of soft tannins building towards the finish.

Red Wine by Yalumba from Coonawarra, Australia. Yalumba The Menzies 2004 is deep crimson magenta in colour. A very complex nose offers nuances of violet, bay leaf, black olive and oyster shell. The palate opens with mocha and tapenade supported by damsen plum. Full bodied with fine tannins, this stunning wine finishes fresh and balanced. The Menzies is crafted to be enjoyed with full flavored foods and complements roasted meats and piquant cheese.
