Red Wine by Cabutto from Piedmont, Italy. This magnificent wine has truly earned the coveted title of Superiore. Crafted from only the very best Barbera grapes and pressed in low bins, it was attentively vinified from beginning to end. After soaking in the skins for an additional two weeks, the juice was aged for a year in oak barriques. Finally, a controlled refinement was insisted in the bottles before releasing the wine for sale. The result? Glorious structure and delicacy! The shimmering ruby red color and deep garnet shades show beautifully in the glass. You'll love the intense notes of mature red fruits and berries and the full, round, well-balanced body. It's warm and harmonious, and offers a very long finish. With its big, noble tannins, it's the perfect complement to all your favorite red meats.

Red Wine by Coppo from Piedmont, Italy. Ruby red in color with an intense perfume of ripened fruit. On the palate the wine is savory, full-bodied and harmonic with a spicy finish. Recommended with flavorful first courses and meats prepared with wine sauces.

Red Wine by Michele Chiarlo from Piedmont, Italy. Michele Chiarlo selects his Barbera d'Asti from the best of these vineyards planted in older vines and harvested at peak maturity. Vinified at the Chiarlo cellars in Calamandrana, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is then aged a least one year in oak. The result is a brilliant ruby-red wine with an intense yet airy, vinous bouquet and a medium-bodied, bone-dry robustness that is exceptionally pleasant on the palate. The best vintages, with age, tend to become garnet in color, and show a velvety, harmonious quality of considerable elegance.

Red Wine by Shannon Ridge from North Coast, California. Our 2006 Shannon Ridge Lake County Barbera was harvested from our Family's vineyards in the High Valley appellation in Lake County, California. The grapes went through an extended maceration as well as being fermented with 5% Petite Verdot. Its red cherry and pomegranate flavors are integrated with vanilla nuances from the oak aging. With a bold, full finish, it is a wonderful accompaniment to rich pasta sauces and grilled meats.
